Today we are at Jamie's but I think it's not called Jamie's, I think they have dropped the Jammies and are sticking with Blue Reef. Either way, it has a great feel to it, like a family business. Shout out to Digby. She radiates confidence and I hope to interview her later about the Blue Reef. They have rooms available as well. Neat thing to own I'm thinking. Anyway, We grabbed a cab at the port. Note... stay the course and go all the way to the end of the shops that they force you to walk through. At the very end, there will be guys trying to sell you a taxi ride, they aren't the ones you want. Exit the labyrinth and go left. That is the taxi pickup area. You'll tell the guy how many peeps you have and he will match you with the right sized taxi. Bring cash. This area is called Mahahaul. We paid $4 each, plus tip. We were welcomed by name and shown gratitude for being repeat customers. Our four seats had our name taped to a table and there were cushions on our loungers. Before we got settled we had placed an order for drinks! The only thing that is unfortunate is the poor fellas selling their wares. I want to give presents to all the little ones designing art with palm fronds.

"Madam, a gift". Heart breaking but effective marketing! So, other than avoiding eye contact with those hawking their wares/services, this place is wonderful. That said, the people are just trying to scrape out a living and aren't pushy. This isn't the case everywhere as we have experienced. Last trip we stayed at a beach further down and they employed security guards to chase off the vendors.
